The News
Latest release:
JAD 1.0 Installer DVD
For the latest developers release (current: JAD 1.1 alpha 1) please /join irc.freenode.net #jacklab
The time of practicing how to write howtos is over.Because of a better integration of the JackLab documentation and to
join forces inside the openSUSE community: We have copied all Howtos,
Tutorials and other Documentation from wiki.jacklab.net to http://en.opensuse.org/JackLab
Please have a look and use the opensuse-wiki for further
documentation and updates. If you like to help edit this documentation, an
Novell account is needed: See openSUSE WIKI.
Later an immigration of the forum.jacklab.net to the new announced common openSUSE forums is planned.
We will still use the jacklab wiki but only for the organization of papers for the new JackLab e.V. foundation.
JAD 1.0 LinuxUser Edition
In cooperation with the german journal "LinuxUser" we have made an article plus an slightly updated JAD 1.0 on the bundled DVD. It contains also exclusively a ready to use package with some ASIO/VST software.
The same time the german journal "LinuxIntern" has published the outdated Beta LiveDVD, but without any cooperation from our project. The LiveDVD is not maintained yet and has a lot of bugs.
Meet the JackLab Community:
27. Oct 2007 at the "Practical Linux" in Gießen/Germany

Ivica Ico Bukvic, the director from
linuxaudio.org,
responses to our call for a US mirror with this
letter:
You are more than
welcome to mirror your work on Linuxaudio.org site provided you also become a member of Linuxaudio.org.
Membership does not cost anything. It
is simply a commitment to the proliferation of pro
audio on Linux which by the very nature of
your project is obviously something that is very much compatible with your mission. If
interested, please contact me and
we'll go from there.
For additional info on membership please
visit linuxaudio.org.
Should you happen to have any additional
questions and/or concerns, please do not hesitate to
contact me.
So now we are members of
this consortium to spread the good news, that LINUX ROCKS ! The new
mirror link is added to the download - section. Many thanks to Ico and
also to Dave Philips.
